Epipactis palustris

June-September flowering. A lovely, native orchid, known as the Marsh Helleborine, which produces one-sided flower spikes. The flowers are tinged reddish-purple with a whitish lip appearing during summer. An excellent plant for attracting bees and hoverflies. Will grow in sun or semi-shade in a moisture retentive soil. 45-60 x 30cm (18"-24" x 12")
