Busy Weekend!
We have a busy weekend coming up with our charity Hog Roast and Jazz Band on Saturday night followed by Willow Weaving on Sunday.
We are great supporters of Perennial (the Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society) and have done several fund raising events for them. However, out of all the hog roast is always the most popular. This year it is a combination of food and jazz - what a fantastic combination! A few tickets are still available, but be quick as we are fast approaching the maximum allowed.
Then on Sunday we have willow weaving which is a craft that is mesmeric to watch and sometimes quite unbelievable as to what can be created with just a few lengths of willow. Local expert John Shone will be in the Gardens giving demonstrations of this craft, as well as selling some of his woven sculptures. It is definitely something that both adults and children will really enjoy.
