News of the week 23/10/09
Gift Shop - Work on the gift shop section of the web site has been progressing with Friends of Barnsdale yearly passes, daily garden entry tickets, books, dvd's and videos now available. Keep an eye on the site as the range of gifts, books, etc available will continue to increase.
Gardens - This year has again proven to be a good one for autumn colour in the gardens, with many trees and shrubs giving stunning effects. The Asters have also been particularly good, and still are, which is fortunate bearing in mind how early the Japanese Anemones came into flowers and therefore subsequently went over well before they should!
On the allotment it is dig, dig, dig, whilst the weather is suitable and before too much rain renders our heavy clay unworkable.
