We need help! Name the cats competition
We have acquired 2 unnamed kittens as a deterrent to any mouse that likes the look of any of our vegetables on the allotment. The big problem is that we can't think of a suitable name for either, so we thought we would ask our gardening friends for help. As an incentive, the under 16 year old that comes up with the best pair of names will win a yearly family ticket to Barnsdale Gardens (allows unlimited entry for one year for 2 adults and up to 3 children). The kittens are a male and a female and as you can see they are both black and white. The female kitten is the one on the top of the box.
However, just bear in mind when thinking of the names that it is not only the staff that enjoy all the jobs in the gardens as one of the cats is certainly very keen on potting!
There is no limit on the amount of times you can apply but you must be under 16 to enter. The closing date for suggestions is 31st December 2009 and the winning name will be the one that recieves the most votes from the Barnsdale staff. In the event of a tie the casting vote will be from Nick Hamilton. Please e mail your suggestions to info@barnsdalegardens.co.uk
