Country Garden

A garden that is long and narrow is one that can be difficult to cope with. We have created a garden that requires minimum maintenance but contains many essential elements that make it interesting, surprising but, above all, beautiful.

There is a formal herb area close to the house with a very colourful herbaceous area just beyond that, to give maximum effect during the summer. A woodland walk positioned fairly centrally not only gives wonderful winter effects but also acts as a barrier for the quiet sitting area at the end.

There is no grass in this garden and as there was no space for a garage the pergola at the end doubles as a car port.
