Put in place grow-through supports over taller perennial varieties such as DELPHINIUM, ACONITUM and CAMPANULA lactiflora.

Topping up ponds and water features on a regular basis.

Week 2

General
Dead heading DAFFODILS as the flowers go over.

Sown grass seed onto the bare areas and onto the driveway blocks we have installed in the heavily trodden areas.

Removing blanket weed from the ponds and water features as it appears.

Allotment
Rotovating vacant areas.

Removed the last of the LEEKS.

Weeded through all areas.

Turned compost bin.

General
Ventilating and watering greenhouses more often.

Spread Rooster pelleted chicken manure on all borders.

Moved a selection of tender perennials from the heated greenhouse on the allotment to the recently erected Hartley Botanics greenhouse in the Cottage Garden which is now also heated when required.
