Ornamental Kitchen Garden
Built for the television series of the same name, the Ornamental Kitchen Garden was first screened in 1990 to promote the idea that fruit and vegetables have ornamental values as well as edible ones. With the plants being cropped regularly, a well thought through planting schedule is vital. This garden always generates lots of interest, with people often finding it hard to separate some of the vegetables from flowers. It is a real credit to the programme’s producer, Mark Kershaw, and set the standard for future series.
